Startups, Business, and Consulting
Software Consulting and Projects
- Codebase: A former consulting club turned just coding. Pretty much a general 'coding club'. They have a consulting branch that pulls in some serious money for the org but they also run mentorship programs.
- Blueprint: A smaller, non-profit oriented tech club. They partner with five non-profits each year and build them tech (mostly apps and websites) in teams of 5. Blueprint also runs the Ruby on Rails DeCal.
- MDB: “Mobile developers at Berkeley”, similar to Codebase but only for mobile applications

- Entrepreneurs @ Berkeley: entrepreneurs.berkeley.edu

- VSS: “Venture Strategy Solutions”, consulting club for Bay Area startups
Design
- Berkeley Innovation: “BI”, UX/HCI design club with a few DeCals
- InnoD: UI oriented design club with several branches including web, photo, and graphic. May be partnered with ASUC. They also run most of the design DeCals on campus like Photoshop/Illustrator.

Deep Technologies
- ML@B: “Machine Learning @ Berkeley”, a more notable, academic club that’s pretty established
- B@B: “Blockchain @ Berkeley”, The largest blockchain org at any university and one of the most notable blockchain organizations in the world right now. They have a student group that does stuff like consulting, DeCals, and hosts conferences. There are many startups and funds that have come out of B@B.
- VR@B: “Virtual Reality @ Berkeley”, a pretty large organization that does all things VR, including a few DeCals
- OCF: “Open Computing Facility”, runs the printing lab, all *.berkeley.edu domain hosting, and lots of student-run infrastructure and open-source projects
- UCBUGG: Computer and 3D Graphics group, also runs a DeCal.
- Quantum Computing: Very young, very small club dedicated to quantum computing, also runs a DeCal covering the conceptual basics of QC
- Berke1337: Berkeley's premier Cyber Security club. They also run a DeCal and have a CTF team.
- Robotics @ Berkeley: Robots!
- LaunchPad: Like ML@B but also do computer vision and are more focused on tangible products. Club is divided into project teams where they just build things.

- SWE: “Society of Women Engineers”, women in engineering
- AWE: “Association of Women in EE&CS”, women in EECS
- FEM Tech: Tech club for women in CS. Also hosts an intro to web DeCal that is not wdd.io (the de-facto Web Design DeCal)
- BESSA: UC Berkeley's National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) collegiate chapter
- HES: Hispanic Engineers and Scientists of UC Berkeley
Volunteer Organizations
- Hack the Bay: Runs Cal Hacks, the world’s largest collegiate hackathon, alongside CubStart, Cal Hacks Fellowship, and other related projects
- ANova: Mentorship and teaching at under-resourced high schools and middle schools and teach after-school CS programs or help out with AP classes
- CSUA: Community that hosts talks, hackathons, info sessions, workshops, and a biannual Startup Fair
- IEEE: Local chapter of IEEE, they run a DeCal and don't have an application, anyone can join.
- Code for Berkeley: Local chapter of Code for America. They help with Civil/Government projects.
- DSS: Focused on education, professional development, and community building within the data science community
